Shipping & Delivery


Estimated Shipping Time

Free shipping to the US on select items. Delivery times will be calculated at checkout. Twin City Seed Company does not have any control over our delivery vendors, their schedule, or their delivery times. Times are estimated based on their current operations and delivery policies.

Standard Shipping

We usually dispatch orders within 2 business days. Delivery times vary based on order volume, selected service, and destination. Regular post ranges from 3 to 28 business days depending on the shipping address.

Express Shipping

We offer express delivery to most locations with tracking available. Express shipping is generally 1–3 business days for the US from the time the order is received by our delivery vendor. If express shipping is not offered in your area, we have no control over our shipping partners delivery options. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Return Policy

 

Due to the nature of the product we sell, we’re unable to accept returns on purchases. All sales are final. This policy ensures the quality and integrity of our seed for all our customers. If you need help selecting the proper product or if you would like some other form of technical assistance, please call (952-944-7105) or email (twincityseed@twincityseed.com) our team of experts.

Damaged/incorrect products

 

In the event that you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please reach out to our customer service team via phone or email. Once the issue has been recorded with a team member, you will receive directions to initiate the return or exchange. Place the item in secure packaging and include your proof of purchase. You will receive a pre-paid return label to mail your return/exchange to the following address:

Notice to Buyer: 

We warrant that seeds we sell will conform to the label description required under state and federal laws, within recognized tolerances. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, or merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, which would extend beyond such descriptions, and in any event our liability for breach of any warranty or contract with respect to such seed is limited to the purchase price of such seeds.

Orders


Order Tracking

All express shipped orders can be tracked online. However, not all regular shipments have this option. You can find your tracking number two ways:

  1. Check the shipping confirmation email we sent you (this should arrive in your inbox within 48 hours of purchase). The email will contain a tracking link if there’s one available.
  2. If that doesn’t work: Email our support team and quote your order number/customer reference number. We’ll help you with the rest.

What if my order doesn’t arrive?

If your order doesn’t arrive within the maximum estimated timeframe we’ll send out a replacement using express shipping wherever it’s available. Simply Email our support team with your order details.

How do I cancel my order?

Contact Email our support team within 24–48 hours of placing your order. That way we should be able to catch any transaction settlement and shipping before it goes through. Anything after this window will be treated as a regular refund.

Can I add items to my order after I have hit the place order/confirmation button?

If you want to add an item to your order please email our support team within 24 hours of your purchase and we’ll do what we can to adjust things.

What are my payment options?

Payment options in your region will be displayed at checkout. These generally include most major credit cards, as well as Paypal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

What currency can I pay in?

All transactions are processed in US-dollar currency shown on the product and checkout pages. Tax is not included in the price, the tax will be shown on the checkout page before purchase.

Sales Tax

All Twin City Seed accounts with US billing addresses may be subject to state and local sales taxes. This is in compliance with US sales tax regulations. The tax law for your billing state determines whether your Twin City Seed account is subject to tax.

 

Do I qualify for a tax exemption?

Depending on state and local tax regulations, certain organizations may be exempt from sales tax. If you believe your organization qualifies for a sales tax exemption (for example, because of a nonprofit or government status), you can email customerservice@twincityseed.com with the appropriate form. Once we have that, we’ll confirm that it’s filed, and you won’t be charged sales tax moving forward.

Each state’s tax exemption certificate has some slight formatting differences. For faster processing, please make sure your form is filled out completely. We accept:

  • Form 990
  • IRS Letter of Determination

 

I submitted a form for tax exemption, but I’m still being charged sales tax.

Tax might be charged on your bill if either:

  • The exemption certificate was still in review while the invoice was issued.
  • The exemption certificate covers a state that is different from the billing address.

Product Warranty

We guarantee that the seeds we sell match the label description as required by state and federal laws, within accepted standards. However, we do not provide any additional guarantees, whether expressed or implied, about the seeds’ quality, suitability for a specific purpose, or any other factor beyond the label description. If there is an issue, our responsibility is limited to refunding the purchase price of the seeds.

The Twin City Seed warranties sit alongside applicable consumer protection law.
