Announcing the new Twin City Seed RESILIENCE Turf Type Tall Fescue Blend

Our team here at Twin City Seed has been hard at work trying to create what we think is the best tall fescue turfgrass blend money can buy.  This winter our turfgrass pros have been parsing through the NTEP data to evaluate the different tall fescue cultivars available on the market.  We set out to prioritize overall quality, drought tolerance, shade tolerance, and genetic color.  After months of researching, we are BEYOND EXCITED to announce our new mix!

Included in the blend are 4th Millennium, Avenger III, Spyder 2LS, and Titanium G-LS, four cultivars at the top of NTEP (National Turfgrass Evaluation Program quality ratings. These tall fescue cultivars have the winter-hardiness to survive the cold winters of the cool-season grass zone, and the drought-tolerance to thrive in warmer areas of the country, down south through the Transition Zone.
