TCS RESILIENCE™ II TALL FESCUE BLEND 

This five-way blend features top-performing NTEP tall fescue cultivars, including the highest-rated Daybreak and Xanadu (2022 trials). This collection of tall fescue offers lateral spread through rhizomes and tillering. It excels in drought, shade, and traffic tolerance (mean scores: 6.7) and achieves elite ratings for overall quality (6.6) and color (6.5). Ideal for home lawns, sports fields, golf courses, and low-maintenance areas in cool-season and transition zones.

Tall fescues provide exceptional turf quality for diverse applications.  With superior drought tolerance and shade tolerance than Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescues are the new standard for turfgrass excellence. And in the world of tall fescues, we believe this blend very well may be the best in the world!  In addition to overall quality, this blend features exceptional purity – the cleanest seed around!  This blend is an excellent fit for those in cool-season zones as well as those in the transition zone.

Seeding Rate

New Lawn Renovation: 7-10 lbs. per thousand sqft

Overseeding: 6-8 lbs. per thousand sqft

Estimated Spreader Setting: 12 (new lawn), 8 (overseeding)

*Note, spreader settings vary from model to model and person to person. Be sure to keep your desired seeding rate (pounds per thousand square feet) in mind when seeding. Spreader settings assume a 1-15 range on the spreader dial.
