TCS Bee Lawn Seed Mixture™

Description

For the 2025 Season the TCS Bee Lawn Mix™ will include a combination of low-input fine fescue with Dutch white clover, self-heal, and yaak yarrow. Research from the University of Minnesota shows that more than 60 bee species are supported by Dutch white clover and self-heal. Yaak yarrow is a low-growing, pollinator-friendly wildflower that is closely related to common yarrow, a species commonly used by native plant gardeners.  This seed mixture is designed to maintain the function of a traditional turfgrass lawn while providing high-quality food for our at-risk pollinators.

Percent Composition:

• 23.5% Boreal Creeping Red Fescue
• 23% Intrigue Chewings Fescue
• 23% Bighorn GT Hard Fescue
• 23% Blue Mesa Sheep Fescue
• 4.5% White Dutch Clover
• 2.6% Self-Heal
• 0.4% Yaak Yarrow

Plant at a rate of 5 pounds per thousand square feet.

The consumer shall file a complaint (sworn for AR, FL, IN, MS, SC, TX, WA; signed only CA, GA, ID, ND, SD) along with the required fee (where applicable) with the commissioner (IN)/Director/Secretary of Agriculture, Seed Commissioner, or Chief Agricultural Officer within such time as to permit inspection of the crops, plants, or trees by the designed agency and the seedsman from whom the seed was purchased. A copy of the complaint shall be sent to the seller by certified or registered mail or as otherwise provided by state statute.
