BLUE SHADOW is a premium Kentucky bluegrass-dominant lawn mix designed for superior shade tolerance and efficient water use. Enhanced with three fine fescue species, this blend ensures excellent density in shaded areas without sacrificing the uniform, fine texture of Kentucky bluegrass. Perfect for lawns needing added resilience in dense shade to full sun, Blue Shadow thrives in both drought-prone and low-light conditions. Such conditions are often found under trees that compete for surface moisture.

Ideal for homeowners who prefer fine fescues over coarse turf-type tall fescues to compliment their Kentucky bluegrass lawn. Blue Shadow provides a soft (for you barefoot walkers), dark lawn that balances beauty with adaptability, making it an excellent choice for versatile landscaping needs.

Composition:

• 35% TENACIOUS HARD FESCUE
• 30% UNITED KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS
• 20% RESONANCE CHEWINGS FESCUE
• 15% MARVEL STRONG CREEPING RED FESCUE

Seeding Rate

New Lawn Renovation: 5-7 lbs. per thousand sqft

Overseeding: 4-6 lbs. per thousand sqft

Estimated Spreader Setting: 9 (new lawn), 7 (overseeding)

*Note, spreader settings vary from model to model and person to person. Be sure to keep your desired seeding rate (pounds per thousand square feet) in mind when seeding. Spreader settings assume a 1-15 range on the spreader dial.

A copy of the complaint shall be sent to the seller by certified or registered mail or as otherwise provided by state statute.

Straight varieties with blue tag certification are sold in 50 lb bags. Once the contents of these bags are opened, portioned into smaller bag sizes, or mixed with other varieties or species, the original blue tag does not accompany the smaller or mixed portions.
